The Theory sb210aw is an all-weather, 4-ohm or 70V/100V surface mount loudspeaker with dual 10” carbon fiber LF drivers and a 6.5” coaxial driver.

Big brother to the remarkable sb25aw, the sb210aw offers wide-bandwidth, all-aluminum and stainless steel construction with mounting options to meet every possible installation need, including amusement parks, porches, patios, pool decks, backyards, restaurants, bars, hotels, houses of worship, marine, and anywhere broad, high-resolution, high-fidelity background or foreground sound is needed.

Available in black or white, the sb210aw incorporates a durable perforated stainless steel grille, water-tight loudspeaker wire entry point, selectable hi-z or low-z operating modes, and has an optional yoke mounting bracket available.

The CEA2034 or “Spinorama” data encapsulates the performance of a loudspeaker in a typical room. The sb210aw “Listening Window” response is ruler-flat, exactly the response that delivers accurate timbre, unmatched detail and coherence to the listener’s ears.

ACCURATE ALL THE WAY TO NINETY.

The sb210aw horizontal off-axis response is predictable and smooth all the way to 90 degrees.

ROOM WITH A VIEW

The sb210aw CEA 20234 predicted in-room response shows the benefits of its conical coverage: uniform, smooth, extended and accurate in-room (reverberant field included) frequency response. Smooth in-room response such as this sounds natural, uncolored and detailed.

AS TALL AS IT IS WIDE.

Notice that the sb210aw’s horizontal (left) and vertical (below left) polar responses indicate the same “coverage” of the audience. This is a result of its clever conical dispersion pattern. This means that the sb210aw can be used in portrait or landscape orientations with the same optimum results. Perfect for pairing with today’s increasingly popular “video wall” displays.

EVEN THE CHEAP SEATS HEAR CLEAN, DETAILED SOUND.

The “Directivity Contour Plot” shows the speaker’s dispersion characteristics using color to represent output magnitude. A quick inspection of the sb210aw’s contour plot reveals its very wide, but very uniform dispersion.

BUT! Even more importantly, notice that the VERTICAL coverage exactly matches the HORIZONTAL – meaning the speaker can be used in any orientation with the same stellar results.

Wide dispersion produces a reverberant field that is in harmony with the direct field insuring clean, high resolution sound literally everywhere. Your ear-brain system is not confused by reverberation that is of much lower fidelity than the direct sound. The improvement in perceived sound quality is not subtle.
